EEA Young Economist Award

The EEA Young Economist Award, which will be given to the authors of the three best papers presented by young economists at the annual congress of the European Economic Association, will be conferred for the second time during its 32nd congress in Lisbon.

Eligible candidates (and all co-authors) should be no more than three years past a PhD defense and current members of the European Economic Association. To apply for the award, please click on the relevant box when submitting your paper through Conference Maker.

The Award will be presented to the three winners before a European Economic Association plenary lecture during EEA-ESEM Geneva 2016.

Econometric Society

Two prizes will be awarded for the best papers in applied economics (broadly taken to include applied theory, empirical economics, experimental economics, and computational economics) presented by young researchers (within ten years of their PhD, i.e., for the Geneva meetings, with PhD awarded no earlier than January 1, 2007).

When submitting papers on Conference Maker, presenters who want
to be considered for a prize will have to click a box to indicate their interest and to certify that they are eligible.
